Akita

My next stop before heading back to Tokyo is Akita. Akita is famous in Japan for three things: there dogs, demons and the beauty of their women. Akita dogs are pretty famous as a breed around the world and they do make a big deal about them in the city. As for the demon's, in a village just north of here they have a New Year's festival where people dresse as the local demons called Namehage, go from house to house supposedly to punish any naughty kids.
